Advanced TeleSensors Receives Best of Sensors Expo Award
Cardi/oTM by Advanced TeleSensors (ATS) was awarded the Honorable Mention for Innovation at the 2018 “Best of Sensors Expo” Awards. ATS’s first-time attendance at Sensors Expo debuted the company’s flagship product, Cardi/oTM, a new class of RF sensor enabling remote cardiac sensing without a wearable or camera.
The award places Advanced TeleSensors alongside reputable award recipients such as STMicroelectronics, ams AG, and Velodyne LiDAR. The honor is the most recent recognition of ATS’s unique sensor that is pioneering a new wearable-less monitoring space.
“The new sensor fills a technology gap for 80% of the population that doesn’t or won’t casually use a wearable heart rate monitor,” explains Stephanie Probasco, Director of Marketing for ATS. “I’m excited to see how Cardi/o’s auto read feature will cause people to start looking at their health in a different way. Just knowing your baseline (heart rate) is the first step toward understanding your health.”
The company was recently invited by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to showcase its innovation at its annual CES On The Hill before Congress members and their staff in April.
