Advanced TeleSensors Announces New CEO
Advanced TeleSensors (ATS) is pleased to announce its new CEO, Sajol Ghoshal, to lead the company in its next phase of productizing its unique touchless RF sensing technology. Mr. Ghoshal brings more than 30 years of leadership, strategy, and engineering experience driving innovative sensor solutions in the semiconductor industry. His contemplation of emerging technologies and growth trends offers keen insight toward solving efficiency gaps, product positioning and adoption, which he executed over the span of his career developing startups (Level One Communications, Agere, Akros Silicon, TAOS) with innovative technology, as well as directing emerging sensor solutions at AMS-Taos.
“I am passionate about the ATS remote cardiac sensing technology and see huge opportunities where this technology can dramatically impact current markets that are ripe for change and [and will] enable the democratization of medicine as we know it,” says Mr. Ghoshal. “By eliminating the wearable, we’ve also eliminated a major barrier stagnating consumer adoption of health trackers.”
Cardi/oTM – the world’s first wearable-less heart rate sensor – made its public debut at CES 2018. Cardi/oTM digitally captures cardiac information without the use of a wearable device and is designed to seamlessly integrate into daily routines without requiring active engagement by the user. The sensor employs reflectometric signal processing in a 24GHz hardware platform. A consumer device will be released in Q4 2018. The company will leverage next generation neural and deep learning systems for long-term detection of abnormalities in its industrial platforms.
The addition of Mr. Ghoshal builds on the company’s position as the foremost experts in remote cardiac sensing, as it deploys its Cardi/oTM sensor in the automotive and consumer electronics markets.
